Dr. Jamie Gloor
Dr. Jamie Gloor finished her bachelor’s and master’s studies in psychology in the United States (2008, 2010) after which she worked 2 years as a research associate in social psychology at Yale University (2010-2012). She then completed her PhD in economics and business administration at the University of Zurich (2016, summa cum laude), with research stays at the University of Queensland, the National University of Singapore, and the Technical University of Munich. Since 2020, she is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Exeter; since 2021, she is also a Swiss National Science Foundation (SNF) PRIMA grantee at the University of St. Gallen. Her research focuses on leadership, gender & diversity, the future of work/leadership, and humor.
Dr. Gloor is supporting the CCDI with her 1.2 million SNF grant and team of 2 PhD students who will study non-traditional paths for non-traditional leaders, focusing on networks, networking, and sports.
