Work-Life Compatibility Monitoring
The Compatibility of Career, Family, and Other Life Areas – More Than Just a Competitive Advantage
Companies that promote work-life balance not only gain a strategic advantage in terms of attractiveness as an employer, but also benefit from more satisfied employees, increased productivity, and reduced staff turnover. In doing so, companies are fulfilling their corporate social responsibility and promoting a positive corporate culture, which has a long-term positive impact on their image.
Do you know where you stand as an employer? What measures do you have in place and do you track their impact?
Work-Life Compatibility Monitoring - YOUR STRATEGIC BASELINE FOR EFFECTIVE ACTION
Using objective metrics, the Compatibility Monitoring provides a strategic basis for defining areas for action and targets in relation to compatibility. The analysis not only provides organisations with an analysis of compatibility, but also allows comparisons between companies and with other relevant data, giving participating organisations clear indications of where to focus in terms of compatibility.
Our approach is based on the analysis of anonymised employee data and can therefore be implemented efficiently and with little effort compared to an employee survey. Based on the results, you can work with experts to derive tailored goals and measures to improve the balance between work and other aspects of your employees’ lives.
A regular monitoring of work-life balance also allows you to track the impact of interventions. This can ensure that your organisation remains on the right path and that work-life balance is strategically anchored.
WHAT DOES COMPATIBILITY MONITORING ANALYSE? A SELECTION OF KEY INDICATORS:
– Workload flexibility: How flexible are employment percentages? Can a FTE be increased or reduced according to a life stage? Who uses this flexibility?
– Choice of flexible working models: What models does your company offer compared to other organisations?
– Part-time work and management: How different are the employment percentages in management positions? Which groups of employees benefit?
– Ratio of flexibility offered in job advertisements to new hires: How flexible do you advertise your vacancies? What FTE do you offer new hires?
– Compatibility benefits offered: What does your organisation already provide? How does your organisation compare with others?
