New: Benchmarking for Bank and Insurance Sector Starting in 2018
The Competence Centre for Diversity and Inclusion CCDI at FIM-HSG will conduct a Diversity & Inclusion benchmarking for the bank and insurance sector for the first time in 2018 under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Gudrun Sander.
Various banks and insurance companies already participate in CCDI’s general Diversity & Inclusion benchmarking, which was first launched in 2009. The new benchmarking provides a sector-specific focus and enables participating organisations to compare themselves with their peers in the industry. This will help banks and insurance companies to better track their progress and to define and implement relevant measures. Fact-based analyses are important for informing and sensitizing executives, showing them where their decisions can have a direct impact on Diversity & Inclusion. Benchmarking insights can then be directly translated into customized additions to management training or similar programs, on topics precisely where action is required.
The Competence Centre for Diversity and Inclusion (CCDI) has been working closely with banks and insurance companies on research and consulting projects for years, enabling us to integrate valuable insights from the financial services sector on Diversity & Inclusion into this new sector-specific benchmarking.
The benchmarking for banks and insurance companies is supported by the Employers Association of Banks in Switzerland and the Zürich Association of Banks.
